Im only a few days in, but at this point I feel pretty comfortable saying that getting Lasik may have been one of the best choices of my adult life. I came from well outside of Boston and Im glad to say that the drive there and back was the most onerous part of the whole process. Boston Visions staff and doctors were pleasant, well-informed, and helpful to me making my final decision for Lasik over any of the other available options. I had the procedure itself done in Andover and the facility was clean, comfortable, and easy to navigate. The procedure itself only took a few minutes and was remarkably comfortableif a bit surreal, especially given that I chose not to take any additional sedatives besides the numbing drops in my eyes. My recovery journey has been smooth and generally painless, just lots of eye drops and the application of sunglasses when Im outside, and even just a few days after Im already seeing as well as or better than I ever did with glasses. My only regret is that I didnt choose to do this sooner.

Great technology to fix eye strain. I had cataract surgery with the Light Adjustable Lens (LAL) with Dr. Brenner at Boston Vision. I chose mixed vision to correct a large prescription difference that caused severe eye fatigue. The surgery went well and the staff is very welcoming. The process requires 4 to 5 treatments and I just did my first one. Optometrist Deborah Lee is excellent and very detail-oriented.I cant wait to see the results.

I received PRK from Dr. Melki in July of 2026. I am 22 years old and entering the military and have been wanting to ditch contacts and glasses for a while. The whole process leading up to the procedure was very easy and streamlined. The procedure itself was very quick, definitely an uncomfortable experience having eye surgery, but all things considered not too bad. However, I dont think the extent of the recovery from PRK was emphasized enough as it took multiple weeks to regain functional vision again and be able to do schoolwork again with some normalcy. It was not an easy recovery and my vision was very blurry for a while which was scary. If you are considering PRK, just keep this in mind. I would say it has been absolutely worth it though, as one month after the procedure I am 20-15 in my left eye and almost 20-20 in my right eye with my vision hopefully continuing to even out and clear up over the coming months until it fully stabilizes. This difference between my right and left eyes is noticeable, but even with this being able to wake up with clear vision in the morning has been life changing. Everyone over at Boston Vision is very professional and I would recommend going to them for any kind of corrective eye surgery.
