My experience with Boston Vision was very smooth and pleasant. I felt at ease by reading all the glowing reviews on various websites including VisionLikeMe, as well as by their professionalism and non-pushiness at the consultation. On the day of the surgery, I took the Xanax like all my friends who had previously gotten LASIK had advised, and they played music by my favorite artist. The procedure probably would have been pretty freaky otherwise, but I was very relaxed and they did a great job reassuring me that things were going well throughout. They also did a great job explaining the process and laying out all the pre-op and post-op instructions ahead of time. The procedure itself took less than 15 minutes. I took the mandatory 4 hour nap afterwards - seeing nearly 100% upon waking up was like magic! It takes another day or two to fully clear/settle, but so far I am loving it. I do have dry eyes so far, but only a little worse than I had already prior to LASIK and I am told that should improve over the next few weeks/months.

Boston Laser very clearly has the process down when it comes to LASIK surgery. I felt like I was in expert hands from the first consultation. My first eye exams required a little bit of a deeper analysis, and the doctor took extra time to redo parts of my exam and explain to me what they were seeing. The information leading up to the surgery is clear and concise. On the day of the operation, everything was extremely quick and convenient. They estimated I would be at their office for 2-3 hours, but I was in and out in about an hour and a half. The recovery process has gone very well, and the post-op checkups have been great. Each time the doctors have seen me quickly, and given a lot of great follow up information to my questions. Overall, this has been a great experience!

I had been wearing contacts since I was in middle school. Contacts had become part of my daily routine for my entire life, and I always felt that it was a hassle. It was a pain to pack contacts for a trip, make sure you have reordered them in time, deal with expensive online marketplaces that sell lenses and make sure you dont run out. I was never a person that wore glasses, and I was tired of paying 6 months worth of contact dailies at a time. It got to the point where I was just used to being uncomfortable having a bad contact lense day. Often lenses would fall out or become irritated in the worst situations, and I became tired of it. I wish I had done LASIK sooner with Boston Vision. The process was so easy. The staff was professional, and they got me in for surgery 2 weeks after my consultation. I was amazed at how quickly I was in and out of the surgery. The Boston Vision team preps you for what to expect and theyre very responsive if you have any questions after the surgery. My eyes are getting better and better each day, and I am glad I went with Dr. Melki at Boston Vision."

Everything was great. It was easy to schedule my consult and the surgery. The staff was friendly and made the whole process great. The surgery itself was not as stressful as I thought it would be!
