Had PRK to achieve monovision for distance and reading. Went from contacts in the range of -4.50 to near 20/20 vision. Everyone at Boston Vision was first rate and answered all questions and made me 100 comfortable. Procedure was as described, very quick, and not bad recovery. Follow their procedures and you should do very well.
